We’ve heard of the stories of Peter walking down the street and people getting healed. He never did pray for them, though the people had faith that he was a man of God filled with the Holy Spirit. They knew the Apostle was close to God and sowed into healing and reaped healing. So can God heal without prayer?

“People brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed.” – Acts 5:15-16

Recent stories of God healing without prayer

I’ve heard about many different church services where people would get healed just by being in the congregration. The stories continue to grow, along with my personal experiences. God does have a sense of humor, and He wants us to expect more of His goodness with faith. We are to carry His presence in us, as we are the temple of the Holy Spirit! This is why others get healed being in His presence. It has nothing to do with the man of God, but what is inside!

In the Bible, the cases that people got healed without Jesus or the disciples to pray for them took a step of faith most of the time, but not always. The woman who touched the hem of Jesus’ garment got healed without prayer. The crowds that put the people in the street to catch the shadow of Peter, also got healed without anybody praying. So do you think these things still happen? One of God’s Generals, John G. Lake, prayed for a rock and said, “Any who touch this rock will be healed” as he had no more time to pray at that particular moment. On the flip side, John G. Lake had stood by the door of the church and people would fall out in the presence of God and then stand up healed. It didn’t matter if they knew John was a man of faith or not, it was the essence of the God shining through his life!

There are many personal stories I can relate with where people got healed without laying hands or praying. The first time I witnessed this was with a man who’s shoulder got pulled out of the socket. I watched as it happened, then porceeded to relax with him by the pool sharing stories about how God heals. In about 10 minutes, he starts saying, “Dude, my shoulder is healed! For real Justin, it’s healed!” Then he told me how that normally takes 3 days just for the pain to leave, but experienced a healing without even praying and was totally healed! There have also been a small handful of people who’ve got healed while I’m playing worshipping God on the guitar. Who said I have to be a good singer to bring His presence into worship? The Bible is true that you reap what you sow. Reap into God and God will come out of you, including all the fruit of the Spirit that is cultivated! Be sure what you sow will benefit you and others for God’s Kingdom, not just your wallet.

God wants to use you as well, even if you consider yourself an average Joe! That is actually what is on my mind the most. How can I turn other believers into doers and not hearers only?!? I don’t have a special anointing. I just do what the Bible says, and it works! You’ll never disappoint God for having too much faith. Who cares if somebody doesn’t get healed the instant you pray for them? Don’t give up, just believe the Scriptures and be a son of obedience. No reason to be afraid of men as God’s thoughts regarding us matter most!

God heals many without prayer today!

More recently I’ve witness legs growing to their normal length before even praying for them. Not as radical as John G. Lake or Apostle Peter, but surely that day is coming. Last week 6/13/2013 a friend of mine said he’s right leg is short by an inch. Sure enough, his leg was shorter by an inch after checking it out. I then proceed to get out my phone so his wife could record it. When I asked him to put his legs out straight again, it had already been healed! He said, “I could feel it growing”. Then it happened again this Monday. I checked the length of somebodies legs and before praying; I just watched as it grew! To be honest I have a lot of faith for legs to grow back. Maybe that is why it’s so fast and common for me to experience? I don’t know, but I tell you that walking by faith is the most liberating thing we can attain to! No worries, nothing but trust in God for Him to guide us through this journey of life. Yes, God can heal without us praying, because He is good! He’s also a show off, and I love Him more for it!

When all hope has been lost God seems to bring a ray of light to beam into the center of our hearts to warm it back up. Peace floods over our entire life as our eyes are cleared when we see beyond our circumstances. This was the case for a young man named Jerroel, who has been transformed, because of you supporting missionaries!

I’ve been hearing more and more often how if we have talents, we’re suppose to put them to good use. Just like the parable of the Bible, if you]re faithful with your talents, God will give you more. My talent isn’t the average talent, and so that’s made it more of a reason for me to use it. God has given me a talent, and so I’m giving it back to the world for His glory!

The team that I lead to evangelize has been accepted for a few weeks to go and pray over people in the hospitals. Nothing too exciting about that until a prayer for healing is offered to somebody who believes! Just like Jesus said, “Your faith has made you well!” It still holds true today, that it is “Your” faith that makes you well! Many people get healed at the hospitals, but this touches my heart the most! The man prayed for had a similar life like mine. He used to be a drug dealer just like me.

Support A Missionary to Change Lives!

Jerroel was shot 3 times in 2008, which lead to an infection inside his stomach in 2012. The moment I saw him inside the hospital ward, I felt pity for the man. He had wires all over his body, and even oxygen tubes going up his nose. His stomach was sliced open to remove the infection, but Jerroel was still in severe pain. I asked the two ladies I was with to speak to him in Bisaya, as I teach evangelism training and pray for healing. This talent is not only being used, but with God’s help, I’m multiplying it!

Within 10 minutes the man’s eyes were watering up as he saw his need for repentance and the love that the Father has for him! After about twenty minutes total, we were able to lead the man to Christ to receive eternal salvation. It was another glorious day for His Kingdom as one has been added to it! The man thought he was a tough guy all tatted up, but God’s presence is enough to make anyone cry as we see how dry we have become. While his eyes were still teary and snot running over the oxygen tubes, we asked if He believed God can and will heal him? His response was, “Yes” with a nod.

Sponsor Missionary + God’s Healing

Before we prayed, I asked the man, “How much pain are you in? From 10 being severe pain, to 1 as no trace of it.” He responded, “10” then took a gasp of air. With assurance of who I am in God’s eyes, being heirs with Christ, I began to pray for him. Believing in the authority that God has given us to “Trample on serpents and scorpions and all the power of the enemy.” – Luke 10:19 I commanded the pain to seize in the name of Jesus. After a few minutes of prayer I looked back at the man who has been lying on the bed for days. His face was glowing and you could see peace all over it. I asked him, “What’s the pain level at now?” Another tear rolled down his cheek as he smiled and said, “Only 1!” He was radically healed of his pain and was set free from his sins all within 30 minutes! To God be the glory!

On Saturday we got the chance to visit the hospital again to pray for others, and while I was there I met the new convert. He was walking! I even had to take a double glance, as I didn’t recognize Jerroel at first! The revived man made such an astounding recovery, and told us that he’s coming to church as soon as he gets released. Well, the next day he sends a text message that would make anybody feel good. He said, “He will never forget us for the rest of his life, and that God is good all the time!” This message is meant for all supporters as it’s not possible without you sowing into His Kingdom!

Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. – John 4:36

Find a Missionary to Support

I’m just an instrument, but God is the one playing and making the melodies, not me! Without Him I’d be nothing! Without you supporting me, this wouldn’t be possible! I want to thank all you who’ve been supporting me! Many people were saved and healed this month from various backgrounds to various sicknesses. Many more to come as I venture into ministry long term here in the Philippines!

Don’t stop giving to God’s Kingdom. Don’t stop doing God’s work. This is the one thing that is assured to make a difference in life after death! Deposit your talents where they count!

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:9-10

What if you were given a second chance in life? Would you take it?

Some say that I live on the wild side of life. Others assume I have a taste for adventure, and possibly a high sensation seeker. I’m not here to debate that, but rather tell you this experience had nothing to do with adventure!

My family and friends haven’t even heard this story, so they’re in for a shock! It all basically started after I found God in a radical way. Though, I was certain Jesus is alive and that He is a personal God; I slipped and fell back into temptation. By no means am I perfect, I still fail miserably! Thanks be to God for being so forgiving!

After living at my dad’s house for less than a year in 2005, I began doing drugs again. I know, I know! How could somebody fall so hard again, after experiencing so many incredible miracles like I had? Clearly I’m hard headed! The drug I was tempted with was just some speed to give me a “boost” at work. Not just any drug but methamphetamine (meth), which is probably worse than heroine. Meth can break your body down so fast, that all your teeth can become rotted after a year, and then the body shrinks to the size of a toothpick!

God Saves Drug Dealers

Glory to God I did not stay on meth for too long! I still have all my pearly whites (teeth) and didn’t fry my brain during that time of my life. Instead I took a wild adventure and had a sideswipe with eternity! Before I got to my job I had an all-nighter, staying awake trying to enjoy myself on these drugs. I left for work early in the morning still pumped with energy, and ready to stay busy at work to burn all of this juice.

During my lunch break at 12:00NN, I went to the restroom to snort some more meth, but wasn’t able to because I ran out of it. Now, I only had to make it to 3:30PM then take a short drive to my house so I could relax. By no means did I consider this task as difficult,as I was only 18 years old, and still full of energy despite the drugs in my system! I did begin to drag at work, but was very excited when the bell rang to close down the warehouse!

I did take some pride in building these carburetors for hot rods, but the day was done and I was going home! So I got into my 200sx import, threw on my glasses then stormed onto the back road hi-ways. The drive home was only 20 minutes of scenic mountains with fresh air blowing in my face. Very few cars on the road and enough twisty roads to entertain my two-door sports car and me!

God Please Save Me!

Just a couple miles away from my house, I had passed out in the car! For anybody who is familiar with meth knows; once you’re sleeping after such a long “high” then there isn’t much of a chance of waking up. W hile writing this I’m still getting goose bumps, as I should’ve been dead! While I passed out, my car began to swerve towards oncoming traffic in the other lane. Both of us were likely going the speed limit of 60mph, which could’ve resulted in 120mph collision!

Seconds, and I mean seconds before I would have collided; I lifted my head up off of my chest and jerked the wheel back into my lane! Immediately, I knew it was God who woke me up! I had nearly taken somebody else’s life and possibly family. Now, wide-awake I drove home asking God to forgive me.

Once I arrived at the house, I sat down on the sofa making a vow to never do that drug again. I should have vowed to never do “all” drugs again, but thankfully I didn’t, as then I would have broken it! Wow, I’m so hard headed, but God has given me more chances than I could count, nonetheless write about.

Grace means to get something that you do not deserve; unmerited favor. Clearly this has been overflowing through my life!

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1st Peter 5:10

Do you know if your going to heaven? Want to be sure? It’s very simple. It couldn’t be easier! He loves us so much that He made it possible just by believing in Him and saying the salvation prayer.

You’ve heard the claims of people having the gift of healing, but what happens when they begin to walk inside hospitals? Here is a story that will mix the two together for an amazing explosion of awesomeness! The anointing is not from man, but from Jesus. Jesus is the anointed one and lives in you! We don’t have to ask any man to pray for us as we can get it from the source, Jesus.

As long as I can remember, I’ve always had compassion for the sick. Teaching others how to walk in faith as well, finally being accepted to walk in and out of two hospitals. From private room to private room, our prayer group goes preaching the Good News. We don’t teach doctrine, nor do we teach any religion. The bottom line is that they hear Jesus died to cover their sins and bring them back to God. He has given us a ministry of reconciliation!

This particular afternoon we prayed for a room number and then went straight to the 6th floor to find the room “602”. Upon entering there was an elderly lady lying on the bed with oxygen tubes placed in her nose. There was also another couple who was complacent with our presence to encourage them and offer free prayers.

Stirring Up The Faith to Speak His Promise

Looking back at their situation, I can see how discouraged they must have felt before we had entered. The man’s mother was sick lying in bed helpless, while he suffered from severe pain in his side and his wife had a painful ulcer for over two years. I was blessed to have one of the team members translating for me, while sharing how God wants us to be sure of our salvation. None of them knew Jesus, other than He’s the Son of Mary. They didn’t even know if they were going to heaven, or even how to get to heaven. It didn’t take long and they were filled with assurance of being sealed by the Holy Spirit, and set to be with God for eternity!

Two of the ladies from the prayer group were talking to the old lady, who eventually refused to have anything to do with us. While another one of the members and I had been talking with the married couple. God spoke to me that the man was going to get healed, then excitement set in my heart. I’m still learning how to hear His voice, but the more I draw closer to Him, the easier it is. When the only voice you seek to hear is His voice, then you will hear it. This requires that one ignores their own thoughts and ideas, but seeks after God’s. After we prayed to ask Jesus to forgive us and seal us with the Holy Spirit; I told the middle aged man what God had told me. It is this type of faith that moves mountains! Faith requires us to speak and believe, before we see the results!

Prayer for Health Cures Anything!

The man in whose name I still don’t know sat down to be prayed for. I told him, “The moment we lay hands and pray for you, God will touch and heal you.” He had also got checked up at the hospital that day, but the results weren’t in. My guess was that it was appendicitis but who knows? He said it’s always in pain and that it’s at a level of 5 where 10 would be a maximum amount of pain one could bear. We prayed believing it was already done, because that is His word, “By his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

After the prayer he was healed! It was translated back to me that there was only minor pain. So I asked the wife to lay her hands on his side to complete the healing. She proceeded to pull out her rosary to pray, while asking me if it’s okay? I asked her, “If God requires that for Him to hear you, then I wouldn’t worry about there being a God.” She smiled and placed it back in her jeans pocket. The lady was so attentive to everything I said even though she could hardly understand English.

I only wanted to demonstrate that God could use anybody to heal the sick. This was the reason why I asked her to lay her hands on him. It’s already religious enough here in the Philippines and the last thing I need is for somebody to look to me as his or her mediator when “There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” 1st Timothy 2:5

Prayers in Hospitals Produce Miracles

After the second prayer he was completely healed. He stood up moved around and twisted his body, but there was no trace of pain to be found! The wife was now more than ready to receive her healing! She sat down and the same thing happened to her! The ulcer was gone the moment we prayed, as far is the east is from the west. Glory to God, as their lives will never be the same!

The elderly woman who had witnessed her son and daughter in-law get healed was now more than willing to listen to us. This is one of the biggest reasons for miracles as it’s God’s tool for the unbelievers. Her fever also broke and whatever else was going on in her body was now healed! She felt much better from the looks of things, that she even stood up trying to convince us of her healing! God’s Kingdom had come in that room of “602”. The King’s will was set in their hearts and they became His dominion!

[Compassion + Faith = Miracles]

Combining the gift of healing with a hospital equals the glory of God! I’d also like to state that [Compassion + Faith = Miracles]. Stir up the gifts inside you, as faith is all that’s required to enter heaven, and all that’s required to please God and receive more of His Spirit. Compassion drives us to persistence with a pure heart that pleases Father. “Fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16

Don’t stop asking for more of His Spirit! But mediated on the verse of Paul, “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God” KJV or “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you” ESV 2nd Timothy 1:6

One/fifth of the population can relate to this encouraging story I’m about to tell you. Just a couple of weeks ago, we were having our regular gathering for the college students here in the Philippines on Saturday afternoon. When I say regular, I mean that as a group, we give praises to God in worship and intercession. Prayer is the natural cure for all sicknesses!

After soaking ourselves in prayer and music, we targeted specific prayer requests in the group. Each person was giving their request to pray for other people who didn’t know God as a personal Savior. Most of the prayer requests were for friends and family, who needed a touch from God in one way or another. Though, in the middle of this; one of the ladies was giving her prayer request, and I couldn’t hear her. Even though I was sitting right next to her. I asked her in a joking manner to turn up the volume. Soon after she told me she has asthma, and that it’s been hard to breath for the last few days.

Prayer is The Natural Cure of Asthma

“Asthma accounts for one-quarter of all emergency room visits in the U.S. each year, with 1.75 million emergency room visits.”

God is the greatest doctor; guess where I’m going with this story? We interceded for our family and friends, and then gathered around the young lady to pray for her healing prayer requests. I was able to encourage her with some Scripture that refers to healing. Then, I asked her if she believed God heals, she replied, “yes”. Do you believe God will heal you, “yes”.  We laid hands on her, and prayed, asking God to touch her and heal her completely. After the five-minute prayer, she took a deep breath and was completely healed! Glory belongs to God as He is the great Doctor!

Natural Cure For Asthma Is Found In God

I pray that you are encouraged by that story, as God wants to heal you too! Nobody is perfect, and we are “Not saved by righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us.” – Titus 3:5 If your trying to earn your healing by being “good” then don’t hold your breath, as your focus is on the wrong thing. “We fix our eyes on not what is seen, but what is unseen, for what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal.” 2nd Cor 4:18 We are called to have faith! To believe in the things unseen as if they are! The young lady believed God “Can” and “Will” heal her before she “Saw” anything. That is faith! Continue to look to God for all your blessings!

Get healed right now with a prayer for healing! I won’t be surprised when God heals you, as I’ve seen it many times! God heals over the phone and even through our prayer videos! Trust in God as He is the great Doctor!

Six months ago, I didn’t believe a Christian could be oppressed by demons. I did however believe that demons were real, and that God instructed us to cast them out. Your about to read how I came into knowledge of all of this!

I was in YWAM(Youth With A Mission) during the week we were being taught deliverance. The deliverance teacher flew from Manilla to Cebu to be with us for the whole week. Though, I was only thinking we’d be renouncing generational curses and addictions etc. It was definitely about that, but much deeper! The Tuesday night during that deliverance teaching, I had a dream that I was at my home town church speaking, and casting out demons inside the church! Then I told my dream to the deliverance teacher. He said, “That God wants me to be trained in this, and know how to cast out demons!” Well, I was of course very willing to allow God to do that through me. Who wouldn’t be? The very next afternoon I got the chance to pray over my roommate while being instructed by the teacher. Most didn’t get this chance as it was a private thing. Very personal things get confessed to release any strongholds the enemy has on us.

Praying for Deliverance Over The Christian

I began by praying for protection over our family and friends; asking for Jesus to cover us by the Blood; and protect us with His angels, then finally establishing authority. Establishing authority just means to acknowledge who we are in Christ. Right at that moment the Holy Spirit surrounded me, and the prayer poured out of my mouth. As I was praying for my Christian friend, he began to feel heavy to the point of not being able to lift up his body. He looked liked he has passed out while sitting in a chair! The spirit of laziness and lust had a hold of him. Soon after he was unable to speak, and his neck was nearly on fire to the point I could’ve cooked an egg on it!

The prayer didn’t last but 20-30 minutes. When the evil spirit finally released his tongue, we asked him to rebuke it so it’ll never torment him again. That moment, an outward breath was released, then peace and joy filled the room. A smile was on every face instantly! He was delivered and we knew it! Glory to God! Though, deliverance is not an act, it’s a walk. As individuals we have to continue to walk a holy life, and not give the enemy a foothold to enter again!

Christians Can Be Oppressed but Not Possessed

My eyes had been opened to the reality that Christians can be oppressed by giving the enemy a foothold in our life through sin. More so than that, the oppression is actually an evil spirit that latches on the inside! You may or may not believe or understand this, but that is the revelation I received. Here in Asia this sort of deliverance is more common than it is in the States.

The only other way I read in the Bible to get delivered is where David worshiped with Solomon, and then the evil spirit would flee. I don’t want to leave you feeling down or scared, but I hope this encourages each one of you to seek God more, as this fight we’re in is a spiritual one. Its a war and you’ve just stepped into it!

Not every experience was like that one. In fact, most are way different! Most deliverance sessions I’ve gone through since then are very calm. Though, I have seen some vomit, but it’s not required that something radical has to happen to be delivered.
